The Story (old)
My daughter is more than just my muse — she is my inspiration, too.
When I look at her, I feel proud, in awe, and most of all, thankful. She has been the source of my motivation, creativity and energy and with her around, I can’t help but feel inspired and motivated to pursue my goals and dreams.
She has pushed me out of my comfort zone, showed me that I can be more than what I think I am and encouraged me to become the best version of myself. I am who I am today because of her—not only as a parent, but as an artist, entrepreneur and citizen of the world.
We all have muses in our lives, in some shape or form. They give us strength and courage, breathe life into our dreams, and remind us of our potential. My daughter is my muse, and she reminds me every day to never forget the beauty of life and to never give up on my hopes and dreams.
...
I still vividly remember the day I had my a-ha! moment and the burning desire to just create beauty with my restless fingers. I yearned to create something that would make my mouth water, touch me deeply, and evoke emotions I'd never felt before.
When I first decided to tackle the formidable world of pattern design, I knew my lack of prior knowledge could easily become a roadblock for me – but I refused to let it pass me by. I was determined to teach myself the basics and to hone my techniques until I had a collection of pieces that I was truly proud of. And throughout the process, I was really amazed at how quickly I was able to develop this entirely new skill.
This experience reignited a passion in me that I didn’t know I had. I realized that you’re never too old to try something new. Don’t let fear stop you to learn a new skill and let your creativity flow — you may surprise yourself with what you make. With a little patience and some guidance, you can learn anything.
Love,
Kristina
