Suggested Fabrics
This pattern is intended for lightweight woven fabrics. Natural linen or double gauze is a beautiful choice for this design as it is very pleasant and soft on a child's body. Other options are cotton, viscose, poplin, light twill, batiste etc. When choosing your fabric, keep in mind that the stiffer and thicker the fabric is, the more structured the ruffle sleeves will look.

You'll need between 0.55 m and 1.0 m (with a standard width of 135 cm) depending on the size you select. See images for more info.
